Monologue in Polish — Polish B1 speaking practice

A monologue — a longer spoken statement on a given topic — is part of the speaking section of the Polish B1 exam. Here you practise speaking with AI feedback: preparation for the oral part of the exam.

Choose a topic and record your answer — it is graded by AI:

What does a monologue look like on the B1 exam?

A monologue is a longer spoken statement on a given topic — part of the speaking section of the Polish B1 exam. You get an everyday topic, such as your home, family, food, holidays, work or health, and you speak about it on your own for a while.

It is not only what you say that counts, but also how. It pays to develop the topic, give examples and your own opinion, and speak in full, fluent sentences rather than listing single words. A short, broken answer scores poorly because it does not show your range of vocabulary or fluency.

In this training your answer is graded out of 27 points (pass mark 14/27) in four areas: task completion, grammar, vocabulary and fluency — as on the real exam, aim for a coherent, developed statement.

How the AI-graded training works

Pick a topic and record your answer with your voice — AI turns speech into text — or type it in the box. After you send it you will immediately see a scored breakdown for task completion, grammar, vocabulary and fluency, hints on what else is worth mentioning, and a model answer.

You practise for free and without creating an account. The same AI-graded exercises are also in the Zdaj B1 app for iPhone.

Practise different topics, speak out loud, develop your answer and compare it with the model. Regular speaking practice with instant AI feedback raises your score the fastest.
