Image description is one of the spoken tasks (speaking) on the Polish B1 exam. Your task is to describe who is in the photo, what those people are doing, where they are and what the mood is.
It is not only what you say that counts, but also how. It pays to describe the photo in full sentences, use prepositions of place (on, in, next to, on the left and right, in the background) and name specific details, not just the general topic. Short, one-sentence answers score poorly because they do not show your range of vocabulary or fluency.
